 While the meeting was going on We also gathered the information that each universities will be using the UTME scores of each candidate who wrote the 2016/2017 UTME to determine the chances of students getting their admission into the universities. Also We gathered that universities are taking students from 18 years and above into the institution, so please if you are not up to 18 years and you are seeking for admission into the university, there are chances you might not be accepted for the admission.
REQUIREMENTS NEEDED FOR THE 2016/2017 UNIVERSITY SCREENING
In the forth coming 2016/2017 university screening taking place from 13 June 2016 depending on when schools fix their date for the screening. we gathered after the meeting that if you are going for the school screening, you are advised to come to the university with these following credentials for cross-checking.
They are as follow
~UNIFIED TERTIARY MATRICULATION EXAMINATION {UTME} ORIGINAL RESULT WITH SCRATCH CARD ON THE RESULT
~WEST AFRICAN EXAMINATION COUNCIL RESULTS {WAEC} OR ANY OF YOUR SENIOR SCHOOL CERTIFICATE RESULT {SSCE}
~BIRTH CERTIFICATE
~LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA CERTIFICATE {LGA}
~STATE OF ORIGIN CERTIFICATE
~TESTIMONIALS OF SCHOOLS ATTTENDED
~POLICE REPORT
~MEDICAL TEST REPORT
~Two COPIES OF YOUR PASSPORT ON WHITE BACKGROUND
we also gathered during the meeting that any student who comes late to the university screening hall might not participate in the 2016 screening. we also gathered that universities screening this year is going to be strict on students, and everyone should dress corporate and not hazard, or sexy, University Chancellor also made known to news men that on any reason should the security men allow any student not dressed properly into the screening hall or else they would face the consequences.
 we also gathered that universities has also said that all screening are starting by 08:00 am as from june this year and every school should resume as from 30 October 2016.
