We want to surpass previous records, insists Bala Nikyu

The Flamingoes begin their campaign against Brazil and the coach has backed his girls to exceed country’s past outings
Nigeria U17 women’s coach, Bala Nikyu says his target in the 2016 Fifa U17 women’s World Cup is to break their predecessors records in previous editions.
The Flamingoes will start their campaign in the fifth edition against Brazil at the King Abdullah II International Stadium in Amman on Saturday.
Nikyu said that his girls have been working hard, and also said that he prays for luck in their outing.
"We have been in camp working hard towards making our mark at this World Cup,” said Nikyu.
“Nigeria has always been participating in this category of the Women's World Cup and we don't want to replicate past mistakes. We want to do well and surpass previous records."
“What matters is the determination of the players and that element of luck, which also plays a part in the game of football.”
