Ethiopian security officers 'shot dead' in Gondar violence

Ethiopia says 11 security officers and were shot dead in recent violence in the north-western town of Gonder.
In a statement read by state broadcaster EBC TV, the National Intelligence and Security Service and Federal Police Anti-Terrorism Joint Task Force said 16 others were also injured in the unrest.
The government accused neighbouring Eritrea of being behind the unrest and strongly warned Asmara to refrain from its "evil actions".
